The creative services industry is notorious for people abruptly falling out of contact or just being unreliable. I will always maintain reliable contact with clients within business hours and established timelines. It’s possibly the most important ingredient to a successful finished project!
Projects go smoother when everyone is on the same page. A good freelancer will always establish the specific needs of their clients early on to avoid unnecessary setbacks later.
This one is big. If everyone who works with this freelancer is satisfied, chances are you will be too. Consider asking the freelancer for references or reading their online reviews if possible.
Not only do these sites prevent a portion of your money from going to the artist, they also hamper the artist with creative and communicative limitations. My website lets you discuss your business needs with me directly, with no restrictions from a third party.
